About the exhibition in Leuven
The exhibition in our Leuven office, in collaboration with Schönfeld Gallery, presents three Belgian artists from different generations.
Jesse Willems uses street photography as a foundation for intricate collages, wrapped in beautiful vintage paper from forgotten archives. His work invites silence and reflection, shifting focus to what we often overlook. Albert Pepermans, internationally acclaimed, brings raw energy from the 60s—Pop Art, anarchist happenings, and rock ‘n’ roll. His paintings and performances explode with rebellious spirit and historical depth. Alongside him, Eliza Pepermans offers bright, soft-toned portrayals of everyday objects, infused with a quiet melancholy. Her work, while graphic in outline, leans gently into painterly elegance.
Together, the three voices create a dialogue across eras and styles.
