About ( s o o n ) gallery

( s o o n ) gallery is an independent private gallery space located in the impressive brutalist Riverside tower of Linkeroever, overlooking Antwerp from the 13th floor. While the view is amazing, the gaze of the visitors is often more drawn to the art showcased in the space. Doris Vanistendael, founder of the gallery, offers a unique setting to talents from various backgrounds. In the last original duplex apartment of the building, Doris organizes exhibitions that, due to their domestic setting and distinctive approach, stand apart from the traditional gallery model. Through their well-attended opening and closing weekends, the exhibitions feel more like salons, where visitors can continually discover new talent and remarkable works of art and meet other art enthousiasts.
