BRAFA 2026
The story of Delen Private Bank and art is one of genuine passion and longstanding partnerships. At the heart of our mission is care – for the financial wellbeing of our clients, and also for the world of fine arts. Just as we steward wealth with attention and respect, we support art with dedication and purpose.
Bringing art to our clients
Our journey with art began over two decades ago with Filips De Ferm, former board member and founder of the art collection FIBAC. Filips brought his passion for Belgian postwar abstract art to the bank, sparking a cultural commitment that continues today. Inspired by his vision and enthusiasm, Anne-Sophie Delen joined the bank and further shaped Delen’s distinctive approach to art.
More than 20 years later, the Delen Art Committee – composed of Filips De Ferm, Anne-Sophie Delen and Marie Genicot – continues that mission: to make art accessible, build bridges between artists and audiences, and inspire all who engage with it.
Giving artists and galleries a stage
Rather than building a large private collection, we focus on collaboration – with artists, galleries, museums and private collectors. Through these valued partnerships, we offer a stage and contribute meaningfully to the development of the art world.
While our love for art is rooted in history, our gaze is forward – we aim to preserve and celebrate artistic expression for generations to come.
True to our identity
Our offices offer a platform to established names who have helped shape the art world as well as to the many hidden artistic hidden gems within the rich Belgian art scene.
The Delen Art Committee ensures these choices remain true to the Delen.ART brand: Belgian postwar abstract art as the foundation, supported by thoughtful curation that reflects coherence and relevance. Indeed, art at Delen is not so much about decoration or strategy, it is about the bank’s identity that deserves to be safeguarded.
By sharing our passion for art with our clients, we strike a chord. Anne-Sophie Delen
BRAFA – Delen’s bride
Delen’s connection with art is closely linked to BRAFA. In 2007, the fair marked the first public stage of this artistic journey, when Filips De Ferm recognised it as an ideal platform to introduce Delen authentically to the right audience. The partnership, rooted in shared values, has since grown into a relationship of mutual support—earning BRAFA the affectionate title of “Delen’s bride.”
Welcome to BRAFA 2026
We are delighted to welcome visitors this year to a unique artistic universe created by Anne-Sophie Delen.
Together with FIBAC, showcasing a curated selection of Belgian postwar abstract art, Delen Private Bank’s stand at BRAFA 2026 presents an exceptional collaboration with four treasured museum partners under the theme ‘Resonance I modern Belgian art’.
We are proud to welcome KMSKA, Mu.ZEE, M Leuven and Musée de la Photographie who each present their unique vision.
The KMSKA presents a powerful selection of modern art that evolves around the bold choice for materiality and technique. The showcased works unveil the clear core of modern art, rooted in the endless dynamism of material and imagination.
The selection of Mu.ZEE aims to present the rich diversity of Belgian art history, made possible through acquisitions, donations and long-term loans.
M Leuven draws from a lesser known part of their exceptionally rich collection and surprises with a distinctive dialogue between figurative and abstract painting of both past and present times.
Musée de la Photographie presents a selection of Belgian photographers that have casted a new and abstract gaze upon the medium. The black-and-white photographic abstraction echoes the birth of Belgian modern art and unfolds a quiet inquiry in search of diverse modes of expression, new meanings and ways of perceiving the world.
Please note that the artworks shown at our stand are part of museum and private collections, and are not for sale.
